Welcome to Lucky Mud Inn and Disc Golf Resort, a magical experience in the remote Willapa Hills of SW Washington. Let time and stress slip away as you explore our 40 acre nature preserve teeming with wildlife and birds of all kinds.  Country elegance, comfort and tranquility await you in one of our four spacious and tastefully appointed Inn rooms, complete with private baths and patios or balconies overlooking the pond. Test your skills on Raven, our championship level disc golf course regarded as one of the most beautiful in the Northwest, or learn the game and tackle Woodpecker, our new short course designed for beginners, casual play, and glow golf on moonlit nights.

If fishing is your passion some of the finest salmon, steelhead and trout water in the state can be found within 45 minutes of the Inn, but only if you enjoy wetting your line without the crowds. There are multiple boat launches on the Lower Columbia  River within 25 minutes or bring the kids and catch bass and bluegill from our small pond just outside your door.

Lucky Mud is up a country road from the Columbia River estuary and is an ideal base for side trips to the WA and OR coasts, Mt. St. Helens, and the Columbia Gorge National Scenic Area.

Or. . . simply relax by the pond, play disc golf, and explore 40 acres of ferny forests and rolling pastures. . . .

Disc Golf

Come enjoy two great courses that traverse our beautiful property. We have a full 18 with all metal baskets, plus 3 bonus woods holes with our original home made baskets. We also offer a fun but challenging 10 holes course that plays on the lower pasture and over the pond.

Skamokawa & Surrounding Areas

Skamokawa, a Chinook term for smoke or fog on the water, rests on the banks of the Columbia River, and is reached via WA SR 4. The town includes a post office, restaurant,  general store, Redman Hall interpretive center, and Skamokawa Vista park that offers a nice walk on the beach. The river has much to offer including, kayaking and fishing.

We are just 57 minutes to Longbeach, WA, an hour and 49 minutes to Portland and an hour to Mt St Helens visitor center.
